Dear Beauty Editor:
Today I made a very important discovery. Why spend $6 on a pack of oil blotting tissues when tissue toilet seat covers work just as well?
You can just as well use the toilet tissue covers in the restroom to blot your oily face. Better yet, you can pop out that center circle, place the toilet cover on the seat, sit down, and blot your face while you do your business. How's that for multi-tasking? Genius!
That was my beauty secret of the day and I'm sharing it with all of you. Enjoy!
Sincerely,
ShoeGirl

Thank you for the information...
next time I use the bathroom I'll save that piece of paper. My face tends to get 'oily'.

Those seat covers are usually positioned right over the toilet that sprays whatever you put in it up in the air. In biology class, my partner and I swabbed the seat covers after we heard Sarah Jessica Parker used them to blot her face. Lesson? Don't put that on your face.
Just use a kleenex or paper towel or toilet tissue. Blot, don't rub.
Ida,
Thanks for the tip. Thank goodness the toilet seat covers at my job are completely enclosed in a hard plastic container.
