He sounds like a person who has a very strong will to live and a zest for life! How awesome! I can relate to your story. My stepdad is 82 also with bad emphysema and lung cancer. My mom is 66 and on dialysis. Taking care of elderly, sick parents is very stressful, but how can we do any less when they have taken care of us our whole lives. What a blessing for you to be ebale to enjoy your dad so much!Suviihttps://www.blogger.com/profile/10850990276010985003noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-9285455.post-1150864150833034472006-06-20T23:29:00.000-05:002006-06-20T23:29:00.000-05:00What a blessing it is to still have your dad at 82...What a blessing it is to still have your dad at 82 years of age.

I am sorry about your father's accident, but like priscilla said God was truly watching him. I know what you mean about your blood running cold when you get a call like that. Thankfully he is ok and still up to being his old self.Karlahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/03484330995923968990noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-9285455.post-1150861924415434422006-06-20T22:52:00.000-05:002006-06-20T22:52:00.000-05:00Loida I'm sorry to hear about your dad. My maternal grandma passed away because some IDIOT ran a red light and hit her on her side. She died on the way to the hospital.
I'm so glad your Dad is ok. He sounds like he is very young at heart.
Take care,
PriscillaPriscillahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/17839253747297595276noreply@blogger.com
